I am here to help you transition from 'Success to Significance.' Whether you’re facing an identity crisis after a long career or just trying to reorient after the retirement honeymoon stage, I provide the non-financial roadmap to a life filled with purpose, joy, and deep connection.
Many people dream of retirement for the freedom to spend time with grandchildren, travel, golf, play pickleball, and enjoy life on their terms—and rightfully so! You’ve spent decades building a career, a family, and a legacy. But for many of us, once the initial "vacation phase" of retirement settles, questions start to whisper:
"What now?"
I’m Nancy Stampahar, and I help the 55+ population bridge the gap between who they were in their careers and who they want to be in this chapter of life.
The Pragmatic Professional Meets The 55+ Strategist
For more than 25 years, I worked in Human Resources, specializing in training, organizational development, performance management, and leadership development. My passion was helping people recognize their strengths, grow with confidence, and reach their full potential. Alongside my corporate career, I also spoke to women's groups, encouraging personal growth, resilience, and intentional living.
When I moved to The Villages in 2018, I found myself surrounded by people entering one of life's biggest transitions. During the pandemic, I discovered the emerging field of retirement lifestyle coaching. It was one of those moments when everything clicked.
I realized the same strategic principles I had spent decades using to help professionals navigate change, build confidence, and create meaningful success were exactly what people needed to thrive in retirement.
My passion for helping people live with greater purpose didn't begin with retirement coaching. In 2008, I self-published Peace, Love & Lemonade: A Recipe to Make Your Life Sweeter, an empowerment book encouraging readers to navigate life's challenges with resilience, optimism, and heart. It's currently out of print, but one day I'd love to release an updated edition—it's still on my "Live List."
Along the way, my enthusiasm for encouraging others has shown up in unexpected places. Two videos I created in my own kitchen were recognized nationally—one became part of the promotional launch campaign for Oprah's OWN Network, and another was featured by The Rachael Ray Show after I demonstrated how to make a creative coffee holiday gift idea. They remain fun reminders that authenticity and passion have a way of opening unexpected doors.
Today, I've combined my professional expertise with my passion for empowering others to help adults 55+ create a retirement filled with purpose, connection, confidence, and joy. Looking back, it doesn't feel like I changed careers—it feels like everything I did was preparing me for this chapter.
I don't believe retirement is about "slowing down"—I believe it is about "shifting gears". Since I feel fulfilled and have fun with my "work", I no longer call it my "work". I call it my "pickleball". Just like pickleball, it energizes me, challenges me, connects me with wonderful people, and brings me joy. I believe the most fulfilling retirements include three essential ingredients: purpose, passion, and connection.
I’m not here to give you a hobby; I’m here to help you find your "pickleball". Whether you are looking to reinvent your identity, contribute your skills in a new way, or simply find a daily routine that feels as rewarding as your best day on the job, I provide the blueprint to get you there.
When I’m not playing my version of pickleball, I'm:
-
Taking care of my inspiring, cognitively declining mother
-
Walking, bringing back my childhood fun with table tennis a.k.a. ping pong or pinball
-
Connecting with friends who are loving the retirement lifestyle too.
Let’s Find Your "What’s Next"
You didn’t get this far to just "pass the time." You’re here to live it.
